…We come into the world to be successful and healthy. That is why illness which is able to abolish all our dreams and plans seems to be the greatest injustice. It may frustrate not only dreams but the life itself. What should we do when the case in point is child’s life?

The doctors are not almighty gods. Good knowledge is not sufficient to rescue human lives. Instruments, equipment and specially conditioned premises are required. All these services are available abroad for pots of money. Why not in Ukraine? Is the professional skill of our personnel poor? Don’t they feel for their patients?

The very idea to create Kiev Scientific and Clinical Medical Center (KSCMC) which in a few years will become reality in the City of Irpen is unexampled. Ukraine’s medical branch has not known such big investments before. Moreover, it is a question of a private capital, not budget one financing medicine in accordance with the principle of remains (a few hryvnas per man daily). Investors intend to create Ukrainian medical centre equipped with up-to-date diagnostic, operating and therapeutic facilities. All the medical services in the fields of radiology, neurosurgery, gynecology, urology, traumatic surgery, cosmetology and rehabilitation will meet European standards. The centre will become a present-day scientific and pedagogical basis for training highly skilled medical personnel and will also possess the status of “University Clinic”.
